Up to $50,000 for sellers before they list. 45,000 homes with assumable mortgages at your fingertips. Your own AI plugged straight into your brokerage. And a bigger bonus for agents who sponsor.

That's what eXp Realty rolled out at eXpCon 2026 in Salt Lake City. This week, Tim, Julie, Chris, Dan, Keri and Tammy break down what's live now, what's coming, and what it means for your listings in 2027.

This week's PowerHouse Talk covers eXp Ready, the case for an AI of choice, AssumeList, the new sponsoring bonus, the eXpCon keynotes, the hardest part of letting AI run your to-do list, and five listener questions.

🏡 eXp Ready: Up to $50K Before the Sign Goes Up

The headline announcement was eXp Ready: pre-listing renovation funding of up to $50,000 for sellers, repaid at closing.

For a seller, that means the repairs and updates that help a home show and sell can happen before it hits the market, without paying for them out of pocket first. The cost is settled from the proceeds when the home closes.

For agents, the panel's point was about competition. Pre-listing renovation programs have often been an edge for big teams. eXp Ready puts that tool in the hands of every eXp agent walking into a listing appointment.

🤖 Your AI of Choice, Plugged Into Your Brokerage

The second big shift was AI. Instead of forcing agents onto one proprietary platform, the direction is to let agents plug the AI they already use straight into their brokerage.

The panel explained why an "AI of choice" beats brokerage lock-in: trapping agents in proprietary tech no longer works when the tools change this fast.

🔑 AssumeList: 45,000 Listings With Assumable Mortgages

AssumeList puts roughly 45,000 active listings with assumable mortgages in one place.

With an assumable mortgage, the buyer takes over the seller's existing loan, including its interest rate, instead of starting a new loan at today's rates. The panel walked through how assumptions work and shared the math behind one buyer who saved more than $400,000.

For agents working with payment-sensitive buyers, it is a new way to find homes they can actually afford.

💰 A Doubled First-Year Sponsoring Bonus

eXp also announced a doubled first-year sponsoring bonus for agents who bring in cappers. The panel covered what changed and who it rewards.

🎤 "Do the Work": Leo Pareja, Gary Vee and Finishing 2026 Strong

Beyond the announcements, the panel reflected on the main stage: Leo Pareja's "do the work" keynote and Gary Vee on human connection, and what both mean for finishing 2026 strong.

✅ The Hardest Part of Letting AI Run Your To-Do List

The tools can now take tasks off your plate. The panel talked about the hardest part of actually letting them, and handing over the to-do list.

Listener Questions

This week's listener questions:

  • An AI bot calling to book a showing.

  • The $200 version of a dead-lead bot.

  • A listing with 20 days and zero showings.

  • Top-producer burnout.

  • Whether to hire an assistant or buy AI tools first.

Hear the panel's answers in the full episode.

The One Thing to Take Away

eXpCon 2026 handed agents new tools:

  • Funding to get a seller's home ready before it lists.

  • A searchable inventory of homes with assumable mortgages.

  • The freedom to bring your own AI into your brokerage.

  • A bigger reward for growing the group.

The tools changed this week. The agents who win will be the ones who use them to spend more time with people.
